Bridget Ugwe is a French-Nigerian journalist who works as editor-in-chief for the pan-African channel Africanews, a subsidiary of Euronews. She manages a bilingual team of African journalists, as well as correspondents across the continent. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Previously, Bridget hosted a weekly culture segment, where she focused on the diaspora's involvement in promoting the African continent. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
As a reporter, she has interviewed prominent figures such as President Emmanuel Macron, Paul Kagame of Rwanda, and AfDB President Akinwumi Adesina. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Bridget also moderates high-level panels and conferences (Rebranding Africa Forum, CIAN Africa Forum, Ambition Africa, Vivatech, etc.) and coaches public speaking through her company Shine Your Light Coaching.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Deeply committed to the younger generation, Bridget is involved on a daily basis with associations that support and mentor young people, guiding them in their career choices and professional development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
