Convinced that education is the key to all development, Rachel SUMBU attaches paramount importance to it. As a mother of two children who herself became a parent at the young age of 19, she is well aware of the challenges this entails.
It is therefore committed to raising awareness among young people about issues relating to sexuality, early motherhood, and parenthood, and to promoting equal opportunities so that all young people, including young mothers, regardless of their background or circumstances, have access to the same opportunities for success.
Leadership & Women's Empowerment
Strengthen the position of women in strategic areas, in the media, in diplomacy, in international cooperation, and empower them to make their voices heard and positively influence society.
Advocacy & International Cooperation
Building bridges between Europe and Africa, promoting the exchange of ideas and experiences, and encouraging solutions tailored to local realities on both continents.
This commitment stems from numerous interviews conducted by Rachel with decision-makers, opinion leaders, and experts, which fueled her interest in various international cooperation issues.
Solidarity & Humanitarian Action
Provide practical support to people in precarious situations through direct action in the field (outreach work, distribution of school supplies, etc.).
